From the minute your project is signed, our PM team are up to speed with your project requirements and will invite you to a kick-off call with the analysis team, to ensure we have a full understanding of your needs, and that you know who you will be working with. Our PM team will also work with you or your data generator to facilitate data transfer in time for the project to start. Then they will contact you to facilitate data transfer.

Data Transfer for Your Bioinformatics Project

At Fios, we can accept data in a variety of ways. Your dedicated PM team will contact you to discuss the best way for you to transfer your data to us. This will be dependant on your specific data type and size. Methods of transfer we use include via an sFTP site, an online portal, or shipping of a hard drive. However, the team will be able to advise on other data transfer methods, should your particular project require them.

Keeping You Informed

Once your data is in-house, we will begin your data QC and analysis. The PM team will be your point of contact throughout this process. They will ensure that your project stays on schedule and they will keep you informed of progress. Our project managers understand that every client and project is different, so they will check with you at the outset how often you would like to be informed of progress, or at which milestones, then keep you updated as requested.

Sharing Your Bioinformatics Project Analysis Results

Once we have performed the analysis for your project, your lead analyst will release your analysis report with some initial information via email. Your report will be available for you to view on our secure web portal. Then, after you have accessed the report and had some time to digest the results, our project management team will contact you to arrange a report review video call with the lead analyst for your project. This allows you to discuss the results in-depth with a bioinformatician, and ask any questions you may have.

Ensuring Your Complete Satisfaction

Unless they hear from you first, our PM team will contact you following your review call to check if you have any further questions before they close your project. The project closeout finalises the project in our systems but your analysis report will remain available to view on our online web portal whenever you wish.
