Sarah HayrikyanAssociate Director of Operations

Sarah joined Fios Genomics in September 2024 and brings over a decade of experience in program management, infrastructure building, and cross-functional team leadership. Her expertise spans developing operational strategies, mentoring teams, and optimizing performance metrics to foster growth and continuous improvement.

Sarah started her professional career in Boston, Massachusetts where she coordinated multi-network research at the Department of Population Medicine of Harvard Medical School. She then held a multifaceted project management role at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard where she provided central organisation within the Centre for the Development of Therapeutics along with management of the Drug Repurposing Hub. Sarah then returned to Scotland to build and lead a global Integrated Drug Discovery program management team within Eurofins Discovery.

As Associate Director of Operations, Sarah oversees key operational functions such as project management, business support, quality assurance, and HR, working closely with our CEO and senior leadership to implement strategic initiatives and streamline processes. With an engineering degree and continued education in practical mathematics, Sarah enjoys combining analytical skills with a creative approach to enhance Fios Genomics’ mission in delivering leading genomic and bioinformatic analysis services.
