Fios Genomics is looking for a Bioinformatician to join our bioinformatics team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a small successful commercial Bioinformatics company based in Edinburgh with global reach. Desired Skills and Experience

We are seeking to recruit a Bioinformatician educated to Masters or PhD level (or equivalent) in a discipline that includes formal training in biology, genetics, statistics, computational science, or related fields.
Our ideal candidate would have expertise in R and a scripting language such as Python, Perl, Ruby. They will also be familiar with working in a Linux environment.

About the Role

You will be involved in all aspects of projects from planning to completion and delivery of contracts for academic and industrial clients and be involved in service and system development for a large range of data types including transcriptomics, genomics, epigenetics, proteomics and metabolomics.
