2021 Publications Acknowledging Fios Genomics Bioinformatics Analyses
As a bioinformatics provider, we do not require our clients to acknowledge our work in research publications. However, we are sometimes acknowledged and we are always pleasantly surprised when this happens. In fact, we are pleased to report that our bioinformatics work has been acknowledged in five publications in 2021. We would like to thank the following clients for their acknowledgments; The University of Glasgow, Genentech, the AquaTrace Consortium, Nuritas Ltd, Queen Mary University of London, as well as Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and University of Texas. You can view the publications our work has been featured in this year, below.

Due to levels of demand for our bioinformatics services and our 95% repeat business rate, we hired 12 new members of staff in 2021. In fact, we have hired new team members across all departments, enabling us to continue to provide the speed, efficiency, and excellent customer service that Fios Genomics is known for.
Fios Genomics’ Bioinformatics Outsourcing Guide
In September 2021 we launched our Bioinformatics Outsourcing Guide! At Fios Genomics, bioinformatics is our passion and we have 13 years of experience as a bioinformatics provider, so we know what matters most when outsourcing bioinformatics. Each research project is different and will have different priorities. In essence, this is why we created our Bioinformatics Outsourcing Guide; to help you prioritise what is important to your project. Our in-depth guide covers everything from when to outsource bioinformatics, to the stages of an ‘omics project that can benefit from bioinformatics analysis. In addition, the guide also includes a handy check-list that you can use when consulting bioinformatics providers. This checklist ensures that you ask all of the necessary questions of providers to learn if they are aligned with your overall needs. It covers everything from data security to publishing of results.
