Access our RNASeq Data Analysis Report
Our team has created a sample report featuring an analysis of RNA sequencing (RNASeq) dataset GSE47944 obtained from the NCBI GEO website. The aim of the study featured in the report was to identify genes and pathways associated with psoriasis and the response of psoriatic skin to modulation of the AhR.
The data set comprises RNA profiles from human skin biopsies. These biopsies were obtained from involved and uninvolved skin of eight psoriatic patients and healthy skin of five control individuals. Each skin sample was divided in four and subjected to a range of treatments: no treatment (control), Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) agonist (FICZ) and antagonist (CH-223191). Total RNA was extracted from each sample and sequenced using an Illumina HiSeq 2000.
